Dubbelleven: recruting event on 24 February

Today, recruitment is a major challenge. At the start of 2011, Ordina Belgium needed an extra 150 colleagues to achieve its business targets.That is why on 24 February we organized a recruitment event:  DUBBELLEVEN / WERKEN + FUN.

TV serial
Dubbelleven was a 13-part serial on TV channel Eén. In August 2010, producer Eyeworks pitched its tents for a week in the Ordina headquarters for a number of shootings. Dubbelleven was on tv every sunday evening from November to February.

Campaign
Ordina made use of Dubbelleven as the central theme of a recruitment campaign in February 2011. The objective was to persuade IT professionals that Ordina is a great place to work. A communication campaign was launched. Over 6000 IT’ers were invited by e-mail, directing them to a theme site. 3000 extra contacts received a personal invitation via Jobat and Stepstone.

The event
The Ordina office was re-styled for the occasion. Visitors could participate in a Dubbelleven walk. An Ordina employee band played live music. Stand-up comedians Michael Van Peel and De Nonsense Alliantie attracted a wide audience.
